Valentine's Dance:
There wasn't a huge turnout, but it was decent--everyone seemed to be having fun, and I think there were only three people that I didn't see dance. I realized that I'm not as great at dancing as I used to be. I just don't move as much--or as fast. I only threw out my hip--but Robert eased it back into place. Have I mentioned I'm so glad he's going to be a D.O. I can't wait to see how the pictures of everyone turned out--It was a lot of fun to see everyone posing ;D. A huge thanks to the Stuarts for watching our kids for five hours.
Primary Activity:
The craft was super cute. The games sounded really fun. The skits went well (I wish I could have also seen what the audience saw). I think the kids had a lot of fun--I know I did. I showed up late--I felt really bad, but it looks like everything was under control without me ;D. It was nice that we got to use the decorations from the dance for the primary activity.
Tonight:
Robert's supposed to make me a steak dinner (I've become quite carniverous lately--a little odd considering I rarely want much meat--especially beef). We get to watch Cole Stuart, too, so that'll be fun. I'm hoping for a late night, and maybe a romantic movie. Pride and Prejudice, anyone?
Can you tell what we went as? (The primary did a cupcake walk--I made the purple and green ones. Lacey mastered the most disgusting slime-green frosting :D).

Loved the zoo. The Keiths were awesome to take us. We had tons of fun. I think Joanna wouldn't have had half as much fun if Gracie wasn't there. There's a pic of them by the otter tank. We also took some pictures by the polar bear (Joanna's birth animal) and the giraffes (Enoch's birth animal).
We were so glad that the Keith's could come and share dinner with us. They let us stay at their house when we were moving here and when we came house hunting (already super sweet, but it gets better. David only met Robert once before, and I didn't know either of them. As if that weren't enough, they weren't even home! They just sort of gave us their house while they went to Utah.) So, we wanted to have them over. Dinner was great. Robert made BBQ chicken, cornbread and jello. It was nice of him to cook. And the Keith's brought this amazing green bean and bacon thing (that I am definitely going to make late
r) and some super sweet cherry tomatoes. We had a lot of fun. Their kids are super, super cute. Joanna had to show Gracie all of the house--she even took her downstairs and they played with the broken telephone. I hope we can have them over again soon.
Robert and I are on the activities committee. This was the first activity we helped with. It was a lot of fun. We were worried there wouldn't be enough food (especially since my only real job was to pass around sign-up sheets). I felt really silly for worrying so much, though, because there was a TON of food. It helped that a mass email was sent to the ward to remind them to bring food, whether or not they had signed up. The ward did great bringing stuff in. I was so grateful!
