Grandma Johnson Visited

Grandma Johnson came for two weeks. She just left Saturday. It was so nice to have her here. That family practice residency in Utah is looking better and better all the time. . .

She came up to see Levi.

I really appreciated all of her help. I don't think I had to feed the kids lunch at all while she was here. And I got to go out with Robert pretty often! (even if the best thing we could come up with was usually going shopping).

She also took us to Chuck E. Cheeses, which was great. Nana's been dying to go since Grandma and Grandpa Gardner took her in Orem. I gotta say, I like ours a little better. It has a nice and enclosed toddler area, and I thought it felt cleaner, but Laurelyn got and eye infection the next day, so maybe it isn't.

Thanks for coming out, Grandma! We miss you.

Halloween Night

Halloween night we decided we wanted to be tourists. So, we set out to explore tiger country (google said this was a tiger habitat--but we didn't see any there). So, we headed to Presque Isle, where there had been reports of tiger sightings earlier that week (see previous post). We were sure to bring our camera, binoculars, and a map of the area. We even put on bug repellant (okay, not really--but we did wear socks with our flip flops to keep a little warmer in our shorts--luckily it wasn't a cold night). It wasn't too long after dusk when we spotted them! Wild tigers in there natural habitat--and we were especially lucky to find a hunting party!!!
Here we find the oldest tiger pausing to enjoy some of the night's spoils. As we followed these wild tigers, we discovered one of them couldn't walk on her own--so I got to carry her throughout the whole evening. It was really special. I don't know why we didn't take a picture.

My Sister's Visit

My sister Susan and her family came to visit us for a day. We went to the park, and Enoch (besides running all over the place--including into the street) decided to go down the slide all by himself for the first time! I was lucky enough to run (ummm . . . quickly wobble) over to take pictures of his first time down all by himself. Enjoy!

Nana and her cousin were good friends. They chased eachother all over the playground--sometimes holding hands--very cute ;D. We sure do miss them.

HAPPY, HAPPY, HAPPY

I just wanted to let everyone know how happy I am. Robert has been so good lately. The kids have been so good lately. I've been so good lately (lol). Friends have been so good lately. Times have been so good lately. The weather has been so good lately. . . and. . . WE'RE HAVIN' ANOTHER BABY!!! Can I just rewind the past two days and live them forever? Pleeeeeeease? (Okay, I would take out the backpain, the restless nights, a less-than-great haircut, and some unfortunate things that happened to some friends, and then I would add a BBQ with all of the friends we weren't able to see (pretty much everyone of them)--but other than that. . .)

Here's some pics so you can see how happy we are (basically everything is on Saturday, becuase I wasn't too dizzy or tired that day, but Friday was awesome too--Robert played in the backyard with the kids and I swung in the hammock--then we rented "Fireproof"--totally cheesy, but it left me wanting to be so much better--I highly recommend it).
The wind was perfect--no running involved :D.

Enoch likes to pick up rocks at the beach and throw them in the water--just like big sis.

Weeeeeee!!!

(Another one of our self-portraits. . . lol. . . we'll get it down someday :D--maybe if I would actually edit my pictures. . .or stop wearing glasses. . . or not make Robert look directly into the sun. . . [*post lost to incoherent mutterings]. . .)
