I remember when Nana learned how to get out of her crib. She was much younger than Lolly. I was hoping that maybe Lolly would never learn, and we could get her to take naps forever. Then we did something not so well thought out. We transitioned her crib into a toddler bed. She couldn't sleep all night, and she figured out how to open the door to her room. We put her crib back together the next day, but it was too late. Now that she knows how to open the door, she had the motivation she needed to learn how to get out of her crib on her own. I'm not ready for this.
Then again, it can be kind of cute. Here's an example.

Happy 4th Anniversary, Honey!

A few things we've accomplished together these last four years:
Mastered the kissing thing (lol)
26 months of pregnancy
1,157 days of parenthood
Magnified 10 callings (we hope)
Took a class together (that was really fun)
Bought first car
Made it through numerous heated conversations
Went to Hawaii (thanks Mom and Dad Johnson)
Sang at the Stadium of Fire
Excelled in BYU choirs (at least one of us)
Graduated from BYU (at least one of us, again)
Took a road trip from Utah to New York to Florida and back
Bought second car
Moved across country
Bought first house
Remodeled much of that first house
Finished first year of medical school
And so much more! . . .
We may have also digressed a bit--we are certainly not as lovey-dovey as we were once, and it's not as easy to spend time together because of our increased responsibilities . . . but I love being married to you, Robert. Love-Loves.

My Sister's Visit
My sister Susan and her family came to visit us for a day. We went to the park, and Enoch (besides running all over the place--including into the street) decided to go down the slide all by himself for the first time! I was lucky enough to run (ummm . . . quickly wobble) over to take pictures of his first time down all by himself. Enjoy!

Nana's Turning 3!
Wednesday is Nana's official Birthday--6:30 AM mountain time :D
This is the most recent (the others are from 3 months ago) picture I have of her actual face--she's kind of smiling. . .

Eenie's birthday
What Eenie's like after a year:
He knows to scream really loud when he wants our attention (Nana taught him how).
He says Dadadada and Mamamamama.
He points to food and pictures of food and then touches his tongue.
He can drink from a cup.
He has five teeth two on top and three on bottom.
He likes to put his head down on anything soft, and will often lay on his back. (This is because Robert sometimes takes him and Nana on "blanket rides" around the room.)
He can climb on top of just about anything--including the vent in front of the window so he can see outside better.
He's had at least four haircuts, but he probably should have had five or six.
He has lived in three different houses.
He has camped in four different states.
He started walking when he was nine months old, and he runs really well.
He likes to point at things he wants.
He likes to snuggle, but only for short periods of time.
He takes one to two naps a day, but he wakes up VERY early (Daddy usually gives him a bottle and he goes back to sleep for another hour or so).
He's happy, loves his sister, is becoming quite independent, and we couldn't be happier with him.

Irreconcilable Differences
Nana doesn't want to go to the potty.
I want her to.
Nana will take off her diaper to mess on the floor.
I don't want her to.
Nana won't sit on the potty seat.
I fail at bribing her.
Nana will run naked through the house all day.
I don't let her.
Nana loves toilet paper.
I'm running out of toilet paper.
Nana doesn't want her diapers, but she also doesn't want the potty. . .
I just want the stink to stop.
